Biomedical Engineer & Medical Student

While my undergraduate degree is in aerospace engineering, I quickly found an interest in space medicine and the physiological changes of microgravity and how they are unique analogs to health issues and diseases we commonly experience here on Earth. I am currently a medical student with a PhD in biomedical engineering. My graduate and postgraduate work used variability sciences to find creative solutions for a large array of movement challenges. I am passionate about sharing what I know to those with autoimmune diseases, movement challenges (balance, injuries, neuromuscular), athletes, and anyone who wants to expand their health toolbox.

After nearly two decades of working in hospitals and the medical device industry, I believe (allopathic) healthcare needs to shift its perspective in how we approach chronic issues and optimal health. Like me, many MDs, DOs, and other healthcare professionals recognize we need to consider ALL the factors that influence a person’s health and change our perspective of health and disease. Fortunately, a better way already exists for us to reinvent our approach and evolve how we treat and work with patients.

Variability is the spice of life, so let’s use the latest medical science to revolutionize our health!

 FAQs

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
